SDS Carer Information Session

Self-Directed Support (SDS) Forth Valley offers friendly, independent advice on getting a support package through your local Health and Social Care Partnership.
SDS Forth Valley runs information sessions at Stirling Carers Centre every other Thursday. It’s a great chance to find out more about how SDS works, what the assessment involves, and the different support options you can choose from.
Carer’s Pathway Presentation
These sessions are for unpaid Carers and cover:
- The legislation that supports you in your caring role
- The steps involved if you’re eligible for statutory funding to help cover the cost of a break from caring
- The options available if you receive this type of funding
Upcoming dates: 3rd July, 31st July, 28th August
Person’s Pathway Presentation
These sessions focus on the person you care for and explain:
- The process that would be followed if they need support with personal or social care
- The four SDS options for using an assessed budget to put support in place
