We are currently recruiting for:
Digital Communications Officer
(Part-time, permanent)
- Hours: 21 hours per week – working pattern to be agreed
- Salary: £15,360 p/a
Stirling Carers Centre is a well‑regarded and successful charity providing tailored information, advice, emotional and practical support to children, young people and adults who provide unpaid care to a relative or friend who, due to illness, disability, mental health conditions or addiction, could not manage without their help.
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Digital Communications Officer to lead the delivery of our digital communications and support the continued development of our digital services.
About the role
The Digital Communications Officer has ownership of day‑to‑day digital communications across our website, social media platforms and e‑bulletins, ensuring a consistent, engaging and accessible online presence. Working closely with the Communications Officer, you will plan and create high‑quality content, gather stories from across the organisation, and use insight and analytics to continually improve our reach and impact. The role also offers the opportunity to contribute to digital development, including identifying and testing new tools and approaches that enhance service delivery and organisational efficiency.
The role offers flexible working hours and a mix of home and office working. The postholder must be able to attend in‑person meetings and events and therefore be based within commuting distance of Stirling.
About you
You are someone who can manage your own workload confidently and keep things moving without needing close supervision. You are open to trying new approaches and not afraid to test ideas to see what works best. You are a good problem‑solver who can think things through and find practical solutions. You also build strong, positive relationships with colleagues and enjoy working with others to get the best results.
What we offer
- A supportive and collaborative working environment
- The opportunity to shape and develop digital communications within a well‑established charity
- Flexible working arrangements (where possible)
Closing date: Friday 5th June, 5pm
