Support for

Young Carers

Our Young Carers service is here for Carers aged 7–17. Our team gives support that’s the right fit for your age – this could be through 1:1 chats, fun groups in or out of school, or just having someone who understands what you’re going through. Together with a Young Carers Officer, you’ll make a support plan that’s all about you – your goals, what you’d like help with, and what’s important to you.

We also team up with local primary and secondary schools to make sure teachers and staff know more about Young Carers, so they can spot when someone might need support and help them get it.

How can Stirling Young Carers Service support you?

What Can We Offer?

The support offered by Stirling Young Carers is a time-limited service. An approximate timescale will be identified with each individual Young Carer at the beginning of their journey of support.

If it becomes apparent that there are issues out with their caring role that require additional support, a referral to another agency may be more appropriate.
